Independent help for families · through age 55

Programs can change. Your advocate shouldn’t.

I help families navigate placement for adolescents, young adults, and adults through age 55—including failure-to-launch situations—then stay as the consistent point of contact across admission, transitions, and what comes next.

Where I help

The program has to fit the person—not the panic.

Sometimes the person calling is a parent. Sometimes it is a spouse whose husband needs help and advocacy. I support the whole family system while respecting the client’s privacy, consent, and agency.

Spouses and families

When a wife, husband, parent, sibling, or other loved one needs clear options and a steady advocate without taking away the client’s voice.

Continuity across transitions

When programs change and the family needs one person to carry the context forward, coordinate the handoff, and prepare the next step.

Failure to launch

When an adult is stuck at home and the path back to work, school, structure, or independence has stalled.

What happens next

A clear process when everything feels scattered.

  1. Understand and retain the full picture

Needs, history, previous treatment, timing, location, funding, family realities, and what must not get lost in the next handoff.

  2. Pressure-test the options

I verify real availability, program fit, staffing, admission requirements, and the transition plan.

  3. Stay through what comes next

I coordinate admission, timing, travel, and handoff—and help the family prepare for the next transition instead of treating admission as the finish line.
